Design Your Own Wedding

Het Landhuis is a boutique wedding estate where you can choose from eight different venues to host your event. Multiple venues allow you to use Het Landhuis as a palette to paint your own unique wedding day.

For example, cocktail hour may be on the Waterside Terrace overlooking the cascading fountain followed by a reception in the Het Landhuis Barn or perhaps dinner on the Barn Courtyard Lawn.

However you decide to create your day; the estate is exclusively yours only for the entire period.

The Waterside Terrace offers a beautiful background when exchanging vows, having dinner, or using it as a dance floor. This large red-brick terrace overlooks a picturesque cascading fountain and wrought iron railing bridge.

TheEast Field also offers a grand view of the beautiful fountain with Het Landhuis estate in the background. The 100' wrought iron Wedding Bridge connects the East Field to the Waterside terrace. Many couples use this bridge for their aisle as they make their way to the majestic 12 feet iron gates forming an awe-inspiring backdrop for the ceremony.

The Pool Side Terrace, adjacent to the Waterside Terrace, with a water view and spouting dolphins, creates a scenic location for cocktails, dinner poolside, or a late-night snack station. The happy couple may want to take advantage of the wishing well, located just off the Poolside Terrace, giving guests the opportunity to make future wishes for them, verbally or handwritten, as they toss coins into the wishing well.

The century-old expansive Pecan Tree centered in a stone roundabout provides a bucolic setting for a ceremony or cocktail hour with its hundreds of sparkling lights. White chandeliers may be added to produce a more shimmering effect. For cocktails, the wine barrel or the forest bar may be set up in front of the quaint woodshed, jasmine arbor, or smokehouse turned wine room to create the atmosphere you prefer.

Options for The West Lawn are endless. Nuptials may be exchanged with the authentic white church pews for seating and boundless, beautiful sky as the altar. For a reception, it is the perfect place to tent and still experience the storybook surroundings, and perhaps, a pictorial bouquet toss off the Log Cabin front porch. Should you decide not to tent, natural posts with market lighting can be added to fashion an outdoor ballroom complete with dance floor for dining and dancing under the stars. No matter how you decide to use this space, everyone will enjoy the lit trees, little cottages, plus the opportunity to witness a magnificent sunset.

For your ceremony, imagine walking down a gently winding stone staircase that is softly lit with hanging lanterns and into an outdoor chapel with antique church pews nestled in a peaceful grove overlooking the water and fountain. What a breathtaking sight with the old stone temple altar, columns draped in flowing fabric and white chandeliers illuminating the aisle. Cocktail hour can also be a wondrous event when held in the Grove Arbor. Cocktail tables scattered throughout the trees with flowing table cloths, various types of seating with eclectic tables and oriental rugs forming outdoor rooms with lights adorning trees and chandeliers descending from the arbor greenery overhead.

The Barn Courtyard next to The Barn presents itself as the entryway to a ceremonious castle. The ample aisle of antique red brick sweep your attention towards the oversized regal doors flanked by lighted weeping cherry trees and statuary peering down from above. Ceremonies, cocktails, receptions or photo booths, and games hosted here make unforgettable photo opportunities.

Het Landhuis Barn is a true masterpiece offering a unique rococo elegant feel, complete with mosaics, antique English church doors, stained glass, New York rowhouse iron posts, imposing 12 ft. tall gothic wrought iron gates, a Slovakian crystal and iron chandeliers, and too many intricate details to put into words. Every corner holds a new surprise of beauty to behold, the barn offers an opulent indoor space for dinner, dancing and ceremony. Het Landhuis Barn also serves as your ceremony and/or reception "rain plan" should inclement weather be an issue.
